Like all businesses we are facing unforeseen challenges and we acknowledge that these are difficult times for everyone. Currently, Red Sun Camels remain operating and we will continue to monitor the unfolding situation and communicate any changes as they arise.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests, and staff remains a priority and we are taking extra measures to enhance safety, furthermore we have temporarily adapted our services to reflect the current situation.

The safety and wellbeing of our guests, crew and contractors remains a priority and we are taking extra measures to enhance safety
The additional measures we have implemented to ensure we can uphold our quality service include:

  • All camel saddles are cleaned with appropriate disinfectant prior to all rides.

  • Social distancing can be achieved with a minimum of two metres between each camel during the tour.

  • Any single booking ie one adult only, will be provided with their own camel and will not be required to share with any other passenger.

  • During the loading and unloading process, our staff will wear face masks and gloves.

  • During the tour, with the passengers on the camels and staff walking alongside, once again social distancing will be maintained at all times.

  • Hand sanitiser will be provided to all passengers and each client will be required to wash their hands prior to the ride.

  • A water dispensing unit is provided for assisting in washing hands and cleaning any residue from hand sanitiser.

  • Red Sun Camels reserves the right to refuse a camel ride to any passenger presenting with any flu like symptoms

  • The Kimberly region of Western Australia currently remains Corona Virus free and it is our intention to put every measure in place to do our bit to provide a safe environment for all our passengers.

  • Dependent upon ongoing advice regarding group gatherings, Red Sun Camels has the flexibility to reduce the number of camels in each tour to ensure we comply with the updated/current recommended group gathering numbers.

  • Corona Virus is not transmitted to camels and as such pose no risk to any passenger in this regard.

  • We encourage you to bring along your phone or camera and welcome you to take as many photos as you wish, however please be advised that our staff will no longer be taking photos on your devices due to the virus.

We are closely following the developments and taking direction from health authorities, local, state, and nationwide government and governing bodies. If you have any unanswered questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

All the best,

John Geappen
